After joining the Florida Bar in 2002 and the Louisiana Bar in 2004, Lisa returned to school and earned her LL.M. (Master of Laws) at the Heckerling Graduate Program in Estate Planning at the University of Miami School of Law in 2006.
With the guiding belief that estate planning is about protecting and preserving dignity, autonomy, family harmony, and wealth, Lisa limited her law practice in 2014 to estate planning matters. Prior to that, she practiced in both the public and private sectors, in both Louisiana and Florida.
Lisa is a member of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity (Ladd Inn) and National Association of Elder Law Attorneys. She served as the Secretary Treasurer of the Society of Financial Services Professionals (New Orleans Chapter) from 2016 through 2019. In her free time, Lisa enjoys reading, swimming, and practicing yoga.
